本节课的教授内容是小学英语五年级下册第一单元《this is my day》a let’s learn部分，教授的对象是五年级的学生。今年五年级的学生所要学习的内容是五年级下册的总共四个单元。本节课我所教的内容是五年级下册的第一单元的第一课时，我感觉整体上教材的跨度比较大，到了五年级，对于学生的要求又提升了一个阶段，不再是以前的单词拼背了，而是现在的词组短语的拼背，其中的难度逐渐加大了。
本节课的教学目标是：学生能听说读写五个四会词组，即do morning exercises(晨练)，have english class(上英语课)，play sports(进行体育活动)，eat breakfast(吃早饭)，eat dinner(吃晚饭)，及句子when do you ?i usually .的对答。难点集中在个别短语中单词的读法，如exercises和usually读起来都较拗口。
由于五年级的条件有限，没有多媒体设备，在教授过程中，我采取全身反应法，结合动作来进行短语的教学。在教学过程中，我和孩子们商量如何做动作，采纳他们的意见来设计短语动作。如：晨练一短语，我们就做做操的动作，然后边做动作边念短语，孩子们不仅做得起劲，学得也起劲。对于几个有点难度的单词短语，我采取不同的操练方法，这样就能避免了一味的读单词所带来的枯燥。
另一个重点内容是句型的问答，本节课的句型比贴近实际，询问几点做什么事情以及其回答。在教授的过程中我发现难点集中在时间数字的英文表达，对于英文数字，很多的学生还是只停留在1到10，并且是用手指数数后才表达出来的，对于这个问题，我在热身环节中，询问学生时间的句型，让其操练，从而达到复习数字的目的。
不难发现随着年级的提高和课文内容的加深，学生们学习英语的兴趣在逐渐的降低，畏难的情绪在逐渐的提升，需要我们不断地下功夫去帮助他们克服这些问题。
